This PowerPoint slideshow is designed to introduce students to the project and inspire them to give their very best effort. It is a large file (12 MB) and may require a couple minutes to download.
1. Click here to begin the download and save the file to a convenient location.
2. The file will download as a compressed "zipped" folder labeled "MP_SLIDESHOW" that will contain the PowerPoint presentation along with the accompanying music.
3. Before using, you must "unzip" the folder. To do this, select "extract all" either by right-clicking on the folder or in the file menu of the folder.
4. Selecting "extract all" will create a new folder labeled "MP_SLIDESHOW" that is unzipped. Open that folder and double-click the PowerPoint presentation labeled “_MP_SLIDESHOW."
5. Now you are ready to view the slideshow, and the music should play automatically. Make sure to turn up your speakers!
(Note: The slideshow contains images and text that fade smoothly from one slide to the next. If it doesn't play that way on your computer, try playing it on a computer that is running Windows XP. If that still doesn't work, download the file without music.
